I met you, I fell for you. 

I tried my best to appear good enough for you.. I kicked my bad habits, swore less, tried to tidy up the mess that I was.. I changed who I was, all for you.. 

But, I was naive, believing that changing myself like that would make a difference... 

I like you, and I kept on wondering whether you liked me too.. I over-thought, read those signs wrongly, misinterpreted everything that you said or did..

Now all that's left to do is put on a false front, a fake smile and sail on this friendship and secretly hope that we would jump ship to a relationship... I know it's near impossible, but I'm still clinging on to that sliver of hope that "true love knows no boundaries"
